The usage of medicinal plants as treatment is a lifestyle practised by an increasing number of people.

Medicinal plants help repair imbalances when need arises, they are preventive measures. For this reason, we picked out five (5) spices we usually use in cooking for its flavour and aroma, and ignoring its medicinal characteristics.

Garlic

It is an antibacterial and antifungal plant which treats intestinal worms and vaginal infections.

Ginger

It is an anti-nausea and antiseptic plant which facilitates digestion

Peppermint

It relieves congestion the respiratory tracts and eliminates bad breath.

Thyme

It is an anti-infectious plant used for mouthwash to fight against dental cavities.

Red Cabbage

It is an anti-inflammatory plant used on wounds or burns.…
