job – a taxi-man in Douala
Takougoum Kamga Pièrre Robert is a 35 years old Cameroonian taxi driver for 7 years now. After 9 years out of Cameroon, I returned in 2012 obtained my driving license and decided to invest in taxi business.
It cost 1750 000 FCFA and 3 million FCFA to buy a second hand and a brand new car plus documents respectively and 10 000 FCFA is our minimum daily income without counting fuel for 10hours work.
I begin work at 6am and end at 6pm from Monday to Saturday; I take a break at 12pm. I work in central market, Nyalla, Yasser, Ndokotti and village. To find a serious and honest person to involve in this business is challenging. Also, the traffic and the presence of bikes is a problem but nevertheless I remain focus. Driving for me is my main activity for now to sustain my family but I plan
